Copenhagen 25/52024.44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Steel can with white label in Beak's usual design with some different colored heads - one of them wearing a high hat.
Pours almost clear pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of malt and sweet Stone fruit mingling with sharp citrus fruit. Touch of pine and resin. Peach and apricot. Caramel. Lemon and grapefruit.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intensewith a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Resinous indeed.
