We brewed this DIPA with our longtime pals Fast Fashion from Seattle, when they trekked all the way over to Lewes for our festival These Hills. It showcases Anchovy, an experimental hop from Segal Ranch in Washington, paired with Citra and Motueka, bringing flavours of watermelon jolly ranchers, yellow starburst and lemon sherbert.

Copenhagen 11/10 2025. 44 cl can in Beak's usual simple and child-like design with a yellow island with palms in a very blue sea.
Pours opaque hazy orange with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of stone fruit with a touch of candy mingling with a more subtle citric scent. Sweet peach and berries. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viiscous and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sour twist. Finish is dry.
Sweet and bitter at the same time. And delicious.
