I was finally on this side of town, and was able to make a stop. In an unassuming shopping complex. Inside has lots of tables spread out, in an minimal industrial setting. A handful of TV's playing sports, and a covered concrete patio outside. The only service is counter service. Order at the register, no real bar to sit at, and while fairly generic its still comfortable and welcoming in its own way. The girl taking orders is quick and efficient, so don't need much more than that.
15+ taps that runs the gamut for what you would expect for a modern brewery. A Mexican lager, American Pale Ale, Hefe, a few IPA's of course. Some fruit smoothie and other kind of concoctions that I just don't drink anymore. Most of the beers were a very generous average. Some brewing flaws like woodiness in the pale ale and IPA, or diacetyl in some. They have a pretty expansive food menu of pub grub staples. The brat was good and filling, but not exceptional.
While I found everything rather standard and average. There was a good enough crowd on a random weekday, late lunch time, when it was raining hard out. So they definitely have their crowd. If it serves the area as the one local neighborhood brewery, that is cool. Not one of the better ones in Houston though.

New brewery that opened up in Jersey Village right outside of Houston. Was stoked when this place opened, but their beer quality isn't there yet. The main reason I go is that it is close, they have guest taps and the food is legit. I haven't had one of their beers yet that I would order a second one of. Hopefully "The Mayor" will dial them in. Inside is picnic tables with bench seats and some metal tables with the metal chairs (like almost every other brewery). There is only counter service for ordering beer, wine, cider and food. Line can get kind of long because they don't have their taplines adjusted yet. They need to get their shit together here because it takes forever to get a beer poured. They have a nice outside area with a playground for kids, and a large screen tv to watch games on (several tvs inside also). I hit them up about once a week, if things change I will update my review.
