Nice place in Uptown, not too far from Climate Change Arena. It was quite early on a weeknight but I dig the mood, other than the entirely too loud music. Beer selection was great from styles perspective and choices including porter and schwarzbier were solid. Food was available but I did not try. Good brewery.

I dropped in at Fast Fashion’s new location on 1st Ave S. last weekend. They used to be located in a Masonry location, but this is a stand-alone spot with the brewhouse and tasting room. The spot is super cool, at least it’s the kind of funky eclectic kind of place that I love — a bunch of little side rooms with nooks and crannies and idiosyncratic décor and furniture. Very reminiscent of an indie coffeehouse, and very satisfying to my nesting instinct. They’ve also got skee-ball and a couple video game cabinets! Service is just up at the bar, but my bartender was friendly and made good recommendations.
On my visit, they had 14 of their beers on tap, plus guest taps with cider and an NA beer. The menu was half and half hoppy and not — hoppy beers all listed with their hop varieties and included hazies, DIPAs, and pales, while the other list had a German pils, hoppy pils, Italian pils, imperial stout, oatmeal stout, Belgian pale, and an amber ale collab with Monkish. The quality of the beers was really good, especially the hazies, and I am absolutely gonna be going back soon to try more of their stuff.
