No need to panic! This northwest IPA is packed full of the bright citrus and pine hop character we all love with a new school touch of ripe pineapple and dark berries. Inspired by the balanced and highly drinkable IPAs coming out of Portland and Seattle this beer is the perfect compliment to any impromptu dance party no matter the setting.

Grabbed a crowler at Whichcraft.
Pours copper in color with a thin layer of foam that quickly dissipates. Minimal lacing, carbonation looks slightly below average. Aroma hints at balance; toasted candied malts and hops. Notes of berry, pine and citrus. Maybe a hint of vanilla. Taste follows the aroma well. Begins with the toasted, caramel malts with the hops coming in more as it sits on the tongue and towards the swallow. Lemon and grapefruit rind with a pine spiciness, some blueberry and some earthy/herbalness. Finishes crisp and dry with lingering blend of grapefruit rind and sweet, toasted malts. Nicely balanced with a fair amount of complexity. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with zesty carbonation and a tiny amount of oily/chewiness. It comes off a bit thin, but only a bit. An easy drinker at 6.2% ABV. Overall, this is a solid brew that is flavorful and balanced. Light enough that you can enjoy a few. This is my first time trying out Meanwhile Brewing Co, I look forward to trying more. Cheers!
