Lightly hazed gold (SRM 3-5) with one and a half inches of old white froth. Occasional carbonation makes no effort to reinforce the head that falls within two minutes to a blanket. Patches of lace form on the Cisco fisheye pint glass.
I detected no fruit, rather this one is all about the grain, with some toasted malt to add character. The aroma is rather subtle, allowing dry hay with warmth.
The flavor generally follows the aroma. Light bitterness gives way to a mild lingering finish with late sweetness.
It has a soft, smooth texture and medium body with alcohol as expected. Carbonation is modest and fizzy.
Given this beer is named with the year 2020 and I purchased it late in 2023, I had expected a mess. To my surprise, it is a decent, lawnmower beer as stated on the label. It does have more body and flavor than is typical of such beers and it improves substantially with warmth.

A: Soft and creamy topping was ivory colored at 1/4 inch and was well lasting over a dark orange and hazy like body. Carbonation was soft and very lazy to rise, sparse, and relaxing to watch, with an almost suspended nature within. Very nice appearance, unsure of style at current moment. A thick and creamy band encircles the vessel with a full coating.
S: Fruity nose, was fresh and wet, filled with apple and pear. Wet flowery aroma and wheat, along with wet hay and honey. Soft notes of caramel.
T: The flavor was honey baked wheat and grain sweetness. Wet fruitiness of peaches and pears with some apple sauce set against a soft floral backed bitterness of wildflowers. Small citrus, herbal peach and toasty caramel sweetness. Some bubblegum and cotton candy yeastiness rounds out.
M: The mouthful was soft and delicate, relaxed carbonation with a medium light weight and feel. Had a small honey like resistance.
O: Overall a sweet and fruity flavor and smell, a very good drinkability, hazy appearance and something that is aimed at a summer relaxing experience, perhaps at a minor league baseball game in the summertime with a soft heat. The body is slick and slides down easily, strong drinkability, great balance of the flavor and mouthful a stand out.
