An off-white head is loose and reaches about one inch before quickly dissipating. The beer is light gold with some haziness (SRM 5-7). Occasional bursts of fine carbonation. Spots of lacing are deposited on a Simpli fisheye pint glass.
The aroma has grains, lime, and mild rye, initially. This gives way to astringency that itself fades to light mustiness.
The flavor has bright lime and spicy rye. Pleasant sweetness is a tad higher than the bitterness, neither being strong. The finish is long and crisp.
A medium body with the texture of fine nylon lends a sharp edge that works well with modest carbonation. Alcohol is far more noticeable than the label had suggested, although, by no means, strong.
My initial impression was overcome after a few minutes when the beer improved significantly. The above notes reflect that improvement. This is a nice lawnmower beer with more flavor than expected. I imagine it would go well with raw clams.

Disclaimer: Not my favorite style. But I'm reviewing for what it is. Frankly, a decent Pale Wheat offering with a couple of twists that render it... unique, let's say. Very hazy wan yellow in the glass, with visible grain/yeast (I assume) in the mix. Spice in the nose--perhaps more akin to a Belgian Witbier than American wheat. Definite spicy hops in the nose and the same at the initial taste. Grows on you after awhile, but one big difference from other similar styles: the mouthfeel was very (surprisingly) rich and even, shall I say, thick. Not sure if it was due to no filtering or simply residual malt. But definitely not as refreshing as most Summer beers with a lighter mouthfeel. That said, decent overall flavor. So I'll give it that.
