On tap at Frequentem Brewing in Canandaigua, NY.
This one pours a golden and vibrant orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like sticky sweet tangerine, slightly tart lemon, hoppy citrus, pine, and Starburst candies.
This reminds me of the old school Hudson Valley Brewery sour IPAs from yesteryear. There's a sticky, sweet, slightly tart and wonderful tangerine character. This fruitiness folds very well into the citrusy and slightly bitter hop character - it kind of reminds me of Starburst or Smarties candy served alongside thick tangerine juice.
This is medium bodied, very drinkable, and nicely creamy, with a smooth finish.
This is one of the better sour IPAs that I've had in a minute.
