On tap at Frequentem Brewing in Canandaigua, NY.
This one pours a dark-ish clear orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like fruity and floral hops, some hop spice, and bready/crackery malt.
This manages to remain fairly pilsner-esque, while using new money Southern Hemisphere hops. The hops give a slightly fruity, but mostly spicy and floral hop character, with a firm and strong bitterness, and a really nice bready, crackery, and nutty malt character.
This is light bodied, spicy, and very drinkable.
I really like this one. It still feels distinctly pilsner-like, and almost (almost) traditional, but while containing a new and modern twist.
