On tap at Frequentem Brewing Co in Canandaigua, NY.
This one pours a light burnt orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like nutty and bready malt, spicy hops, honey, and water crackers.
This is a bit more hop-forward than the typical maibock, and almost feels hoppy pilsner-esque, but I still enjoy it. There's still a nice and mildly sweet malt character, with a bit firm and strong spicy and bitter hop character.
This is light bodied, very crisp, with a nice clean bite, and a great drinkability.
This isn't the most traditional bock you'll ever have, but it's still tasty, and I guess that's what matters.
