This one pours a dark brown-ish black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like creamy vanilla, dark fruit, almond, and milk chocolate.
I really don't get a ton of barrel on this one unfortunately - maybe it needed to be in barrel for a little longer. There's a touch of cherry and fruitiness, but it's mostly almond and vanilla, in a pretty tasty way. Both are done well, they're definitely present, but they don't add overwhelming sweetness. There's also milk chocolate, and a touch of roast.
This is medium bodied, not super thick, but definitely creamy.
This is a solid first effort, as barrel aged beers go from these guys. I want more barrel character, but I still enjoyed it.
