This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.

This smells like spicy oak, a sort of herbal bitterness, dark chocolate, and roast.

This is probably the best stout that Frequentem has done yet, but it’s still probably their weakest area of brewing. It’s got a lot of barrel, spicy, herbal, and oaky, with some light bourbon heat, and a nice chocolatey backbone. It’s decently well balanced, but a little bit bland.

This is medium bodied, maybe a little bit thin, but nicely drinkable with no real booziness.

This is a decent step forward for their stout program – I’m excited to see it grow and get better with time.
