Pours gem clear and pale straw (SRM 3-4). Fine lazy bubbles drift upwards to join an eternal cloud of puffy white head. Thick chunky lace clings to the walls of a Pretentious Glass Company American Lager pilsner glass.
The aroma opens with dusty grains that lead to sweet bread dough. Light herbal notes eventually lead to watercress.
The flavor is similar to Ritz crackers without the butter. Sharp spiciness leads to celery and eventually a touch of honey. Mineral flavors are strong as they come out late in each sip and linger late in a long finish.
The body is light with the texture of jersey cotton. Fine carbonation and alcohol as expected help maintain the dryness. Minerals are prominent.
I found this to be easy drinking on a hot summer afternoon. It would likely go well with a mild blue cheese and possibly a brie.

On tap at Frequentem Brewing in Canandaigua, NY.
This one pours a very clear golden yellow into a dimpled mug, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like spicy and grassy hops, and some crackery malt.
As completely expected, this is absolutely wonderful. There’s the lightest hint of honey, with some crusty breadiness, and a really spicy, refreshing, and clean hop bitterness.
This is light bodied, and super crisp and clean, with a wonderful drinkability.
I could drink so much of this and not ever get sick of it.
