Brewed using a cereal step mash with Forbidden (black) rice and a touch of dark malt. Lagered in our horizontal lager tanks.

Can pour at Frequentem Brewing in Canandaigua, NY.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small white head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like toasted rice, dark chocolate, roasted malt, and some light smoke.

This is just super toasty and delicious, with dark chocolate, roast, pumpernickel bread, aromatic toasted rice, and spicy hops.

This is light bodied, but still creamy and rich, with a really great drinkability.

I really like the inventiveness of this one – everything came out really well.
