In the style of a tmavé pivo. 13ºP starting gravity lends nice body to complement the roast malt.

5 oz pour on tap at the brewery. Pours a clear medium brown color. Aroma and flavor feature pumpernickel, light chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel malt with a complement of noble hops. Great flavors but everything is a bit muted. Creamy, moderately carbonated mouthfeel, fairly light body. Overall it's a well-made dark lager but I'd prefer a bit more oomph.

On tap at Frequentem Brewing in Canandaigua, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells toasty and roasty, with some breadiness, nuttiness, and roasted malt, and a touch of chocolate.
Like pretty much every dark lager that Frequentem has put out so far, this is super, super good. It’s just so creamy, and full, while remaining nimble on the palate. It’s super drinkable, with chocolatey undertones supporting a roasty and nutty malt overtone.
This is super creamy and drinkable, with a wonderfully smooth finish.
This is stupid good, as expected.
