2025 version poured cold to a mini snifter. Color at first is murky chestnut, but later turns to creamy chocolate milk color when the adjunct slurry is disturbed. Aroma is chocolate and almonds. Flavor is chocolate and almonds. Mouthfeel is medium and grainy from what seems to be a chocolate and almond puree. Alcohol hides. It is what it says it is, and never develops beyond that. At $15/500 ml, that’s too myopic to revisit.
