Verd is a hoppy tribute to the IPA culture in the Green Mountain State. The generous use of three hop varieties carried by a soft malt backbone makes this an assertive, yet smooth and refreshing IPA.

Hops: Amarillo, Southern Cross

Smells marvelous although the flavor doesnt reflect. Hazy color and a quickly fading underwhelming head that does cling to the walls of the glass nicely and leaves a nice trail.

my first from these guys, pint can shared by and with my brother, always a treat. never even heard of this operation before i dont think, but the beer is strikingly impressive, one of my favorites from a rather ambitious few days of beer drinking. there is a certain softness to this that really is vermont, not just new england, but vermont, and i think this is indicative of that, makes it feel special in some way, almost intangible. the hop profile is of course wonderful, the overall quality is high, its nice and fresh, but this has a real sense of place, considering the hops are likely from far away, kind of neat. real pale, starchy looking straw colored with a fluffy white head, good carbonation, not too thick and dense as some of these can be. the aroma is so awesome, fresh and instant, herbaceous and new, lime leaf, honeysuckle, lemon verbena, the first flowers of spring, soft citrus, a slightly raw thing to the grain, maybe unmalted wheat, slightly juicy without being sweet overall, interesting almost saline white wine character, no real bitterness or oversaturation at all, unique, would love to know the hops, distinctive there, and it translates to the taste, grassy and turf-like, high summer vibes now, herbal like green tea and jasmine, no bitterness really at all until the swallow, and its restrained then too, trace lemongrass, shaved coconut, and lemon candy. its fabulous with this dry but interesting grain foundation and the subtle yeast element thats here. mild in terms of intensity really, almost pale ale to me, but well dry hopped, super drinkable, and gentle feeling in a way thats really appealing. very keen to try more from these guys after this one, fantastic hop profile on it, exceptional mouthfeel.

Can purchased and drank at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a soft looking hazy orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells quite melon forward, with some marijuana, lemon, and orange.

This has a pretty wonderful softness to it – almost a sort of a melon cloud vibe here, with a touch of green dank bitterness, orange, and lemon candy.

This is light bodied, soft, but crisp, with a very nice drinkability.

I don’t believe I’ve had anything from this brewery prior to this – this was quite enjoyable.

16 oz can poured into a Guinness style pint glass canned on 7/14/23. A hazy murky golden yellow with a one finger head that moves to lace expeditiously. Nose is quite a vibrant mix of citrus, tangerine, maybe some stone fruit. The taste is fairly light, with some herbaceous quality to go with the stone fruit/tangerine notes. Feel is medium light, a scoche below medium level of carbonation. Overall, an interesting take on IPA at 5.2%.

This is one I have heard good things about and have wanted to try for a while, but passed it over for others. Finally grabbed one in for a single taste pack. It really tastes like nothing I have had before. I honestly can not pinpoint the flavor. Bitter stone fruit would kind of be my best guess. Certainly citrus forward, not sure I would really seek it out again, but if given a can I wouldn't turn it down.
