Poured into a pint glass from a 16 oz can. Pours translucent hazy yellow with two fingers of head; slowly recedes. Tastes of burnt medicine and a band aid. Not very good.

Pours a hazy, dark straw yellow, champagne-like 1" head that quickly recedes, minimal lacing. Nose keeps that up - yeasty, musty sweetness, white wine and green grapes, only a trace of light tropical hops. Taste lacks any of the estery notes form the nose, but what flavor is there is very light - light hop (tropical) sweetness, pineapple, maybe a bit of sweet white grape juice. On the finish, some pine and resin. Mouthfeel is thin, particularly for the style.
In my experience, most session NEIPAs feel empty - they fail in showcasing hops, lack the smooth and soft mouthfeel of their bigger cousins, but also, because of their general sweetness, fail to be as refreshing as, say, any lager or pale ale clocking in at a similar ABV. While not a bad beer by any stretch, felt similarly underwhelmed here. Still, excited to try and buy more from these folks next time I'm in the area.
