I hit Origin a few weeks back and have been meaning to drink the 4 beers I took home but forgot them in the back of my fridge. This feels like a fun one to start with, just a real light Bitter to start off my night. Let's crack it open and see what it has to offer
Pours a mostly clear orange gold with 2 fingers of soapy off white head that fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is bright and spicy, surprisingly estery. I'm picking up on aromas of white pepper, doughy malt, lemon zest, bread crust, underripe banana, honey, and light grass
It's sweeter in taste than the nose would lead you to believe, but still damn good. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting bready malt, orange zest, honey, grassy hops, overripe banana, raw grain, and light white pepper. The swallow brings notes of overripe banana, honey, cereal grain, grassy hops, white grape, white pepper, and orange zest
A light body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a crisp beer. Finishes mostly dry and refreshing
This one is a bit odd for the style but it goes down so easy that it hardly matters

16oz can served in a dimple mug. Pours a lovely honey-colored hue with a translucent clarity and a loose, off-white head that quickly dissipates into a sudsy cluster around the shoulders. Nose is interesting. Yeast profile is reminiscent of a Hefeweizen. Taste reveals light, toasted malts and again the character of a Hefeweizen yeast (banana esters and bubblegum). Mouthfeel is light in body with a mild, even carbonation. Amazingly quaffable at 3%. This beer is dynamite on-nitro.
