I don’t typically love Czech Ambers as a style, but I trust Origin to do it justice. One of the first beers I tried from them was a foeder aged CAL which was quite good. Let’s crack it open and see what it has to offer
Pours a clear amber gold with 2 fingers of soapy off white head that slowly fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
This is malty and a bit spicy in the nose, I’m really digging how bright it all is. I’m picking up on aromas of rye toast, golden raisin, raw grain, black tea, wildflower honey, white pepper, grassy hops, orange zest, and light clove
It’s similarly vibrant in taste and I’m all about it. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting bread crust, honey, earthy hops, white pepper, orange zest, and cereal grain. The swallow brings notes of rye toast, black tea, honey, toasted grain, orange zest, white pepper, golden raisin, earthy hops, and light grapefruit pith
A light medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a crisp beer. Finishes mostly dry and refreshing
This very well may be one of my favorite examples of the style. Awesome stuff

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
