In the German tradition, this beer has gone through a single decoction mash process and ferulic acid rest; subtle aroma of spice and banana; straw color with light haze; a balance of yeast and clove flavors, finishes with residual spicy notes.
Inspired by the Grimm Brother's tale, "The Peasant and the Devil," this beer weaves a story of a cleaver farmer and a devilish encounter in a field of wheat. Crafted with premium wheat and barley sourced from Germany, and infused with a strain od authentic Weihenstephan yeast. Brewed using single decoction step mash, true to German tradition, this beer boasts a harmonious blend of flavors: freshly baked bread, the subtle spice of cloves, and the sweet essence of bananas.

Pours clear and golden amber (SRM 5-6). A brief, uninspired, half inch of white foam leaves no lacing on a Weihenstephaner weizen glass.
The aroma has some wheat and light clove and extremely faint banana that took some effort to notice. While there are no off aromas, there is very little in the way of what one would expect from a Hefeweizen.
The flavor is similar to the aroma, however, there is the addition of apple, which is the more prominent sensation. Again, while it tastes good, it's just not to the stated style. It has a long, modest finish with a mild astringency.
A medium body and smooth nylon texture. Alcohol is as expected. Fizzy carbonation is light and far below expectations.
Faircraft has produced much better beers to style than this one. Again, it's a good beer, just not exactly what one would expect, especially given the word "Treasure" in its name.
