Dawn Keeper was designed to have those fruity hazy IPA flavors/aromas, but to keep crushability high for summertime. HEAVY doses of Mosaic + Simcoe create a bouquet of shape shifting aromas. One minute it’s white grape, pear, and rose water - the next minute its the finest Hippie Lettuce South of Mendocino. Take a trip with the Dawn Keeper to outer orbit.

Had Dawn Keeper poured from pint can, no date, muled from Cali. by my little brother, nonic pint.
Pours cloudy lemon-gold with 2-finger, creamy, near-white head, with excellent retention, leaving chunky rings of lace down the glass. Aromas of mild citrus rind and a little hop spice off pour, then some pear aroma, which continues and grows, joined by a lot of dankness, and by some peach aroma as warms. On tasting, begins peach and big lime, over a dry, white wine grape body, joined by a little sweet pear as warms, with the fruit continuing into a long, drying, increasingly resinous, mildly fruity, but finally rather bitter finish.
As the brewer suggests, this is a very interesting beer, which has elements of an APA, but is like an OG NEIPA in appearance, and is hopped like a West Coast IPA. Add that up, and you have a refreshing, dank, sessionable ale.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Spicy herbal notes, resinous pine, citrus zest, a bit grassy, subtle tropical and stone fruit, crackery biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Opens with a mix of resinous pine, spicy herbal notes, and zesty citrus, lime, lemon, and tangerine, then opens up to tropical and stone fruit, passion fruit, pineapple, apricot, peach, and a hint of blueberry, a bit grassy, crackery biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
M: A bit on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Super tasty crushable pale ale. Hits the spot as a post work out recovery beverage.
