Introducing Rowhaus Pils, our newest lagerbier, brewed as a traditional German-style pilsner, and brewed in collaboration with Ron Barchet, cofounder of Victory Brewing in Philadelphia, PA.
It begins in the brewhouse with soft water and an intensive mashing of 100% Bamberger pilsner malt. In the boil, we add copious amounts of low alpha acid German hops including Tettnanger, Spalt Select, Hallertau Mittelfruh, Hersbrucker, + some Czech Saaz for good measure. In the cellar, Rowhaus is fermented low and slow, naturally carbonated, and lagered for many moons.

Clear bright yellow brew with long-lasting foam in the Faust Weizen glass. Aromatic with toast and the nicest beery zing. Lush and sizzly mouthfeel. Actually quite fruity and even a little sweet. Some grainy flavor with a hint of walnuts. It all comes together with the loving kiss of hops. This is quite a delicious Pilsner that is thoroughly drinkable while having plenty of flavor to savor. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. Not dated.
