Our Leroy brown ale brewed with maple syrup to create a great fall beer with a sweeter finish.

32 ounce crowler, filled yesterday at the brewery. Served in a can style pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear brownish/red color with about an inch light tan head that stuck around for a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like maple, nuts, toasted malt and caramel. Taste is pretty much like the aroma, but there's also the addition of some molasses and a bit of bitter herbal hop flavors. Mostly sweet smelling and tasting, but not overpoweringly so. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. If you like maple, then you'll probably like this beer as much as I did. I liked it more on tap at the brewery yesterday, but I'm glad I got a crowler to take home. Worth trying if you ever make a stop at the brewery!
