Pours the usual very dark reddish-tinged brown with long-lasting foam in the Fuller's pint. Inviting aroma of roasted grain. Malty flavor with a sweet note and slightly charred finish. This is more sweet than the Irish styles and has even the Export Stout winey flavor. Highly drinkable and flavorful. One of the better Stouts I've had in a long time. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at the brewpub in Cottage Grove.
