Two 0.5l bottles into a maßkrug.
Minneral and floral nose. Sweet peas among the limestone. Strawberry presserve.
Mineral-forward sofisticated arrival. The mineral and bitter notes that are typical of eastern Bavaria, but toned down a bit. Honey development that's cut of by a sharp bitterness before becoming owerly sweet. Garden herbs. Burnt hay. Some honey and more strawberry presserve sweetness lingers in the finish.
Superbly simple.

Pours a clear amber with soft, fluffy head.
Smell is bready and a bit sweet with notes of brown bread, honey, citrus, rye and Digestives.
Taste is crisp and bready with a moderate bitteress. Notes of brown bread, golden syrup, honey, citrus and Digestives with some floral hints.
Mouthfeel is medium, a bit creamy and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice, well made Märzen.
