1 litre plastic bottle with a plastic cola screw-top purchased at a supermarket in Vilnius, Lithuania. This is brewed by Obolon in Kiev and imported (at least in Lithuania) by UAB Beer Group (what a specific name for an importer, I know...). I've also seen this in cans, I think. Brewed 01.12.15. Best before 29.05.16.
Pours your standard copper body and white head, the latter of which sticks around for a good 4-5 minutes - more than most beers in this style, I'd contend. Aroma is of grain and butter, and the taste matches. She's simple and shallow, but hey, it's Ukrainian.
Mouthfeel is buttery, smooth, wet, and unrefreshing. Overcarbonated, but at least it's not oily or astringent.
This is a proper student beer, if I may use that euphemism. Cheap and drinkable, but unimpressive. Discerning drinkers should stay clear. Ukrainian prostitutes and European holidaymakers should imbibe to their heart's content.
I won't be buying this again, but I knew what I was getting into when I saw the price.
Low D (2.06) / NOT RECOMMENDED

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
