Pours a cloudy and frothy yellow-orange in the Ommegang chalice. Ingredients are listed as Cascade, El Dorado, and Enigma hops, plus honey and lactose. Quite sweet and the honey does show up in the nose. Tastes like orange. As thick and slick a mouthfeel as I"ve encountered. What's the opposite of "refreshing"?
Some tangy notes This is actually fairly sippable, and for fans of the sweet and murky style, this might be a real hit. Massive fruit, sugar into the aftertaste. The final bitterness on top of all that makes me a little queasy. From the 16 oz can purchased at BottleCraft in North Park. Not dated.
