Our Single Estate Latte Pale Ale is turning coffee beer on its head with the help of Leeds coffee roasters Northstar and Sheffield brewery Heist. This collab came about thanks to the Cvlt Of Independence campaign from podcasters Beernomicon. Expect sweet latte flavours, thick body and smooth vanilla finish.

440ml can.
L: Hazy, pale orange with a one-finger head that disappears fairly quickly and leaves just a few spots of lacing.
S: Big freshly brewed coffee aroma with a citrus twist.
T: Coffee is far more subdued but vanilla is intense. Sweet but not cloying.
F: Extra smooth and subtly dry.
O: This isn’t a style I particularly gravitate to so I was pleasantly surprised with this example. Yes, it’s sweet. Yes, it has a hefty vanilla additive. Yes it’s a blend of coffee and tropical fruit. But somehow all these elements blend nicely. Maybe because it’s a milk stout that only looks like a pale ale.
