500ml Crowler from Brewdog Glasgow:
Copper amber with a thick & foamy, cream coloured head that holds really well & leaves plenty of lacing on the sides too. The nose is sweet & hoppy to start, there's a nice cherry aroma kicking things off with a few fruity & citrus hops then light oak & boozy notes to finish; the cherry notes could have been stronger though. The cherry sweetness carries over to the taste with touches of vanilla, a moderate booziness & an malty, earthy bitterness at the end. It's a medium bodied beer with average carbonation & it's a nice twist on a standard English bitter, with some sweetness & a subtle floral hop bitterness at the end.
