Copenhagen 27/3 2026. 33 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Colorful and chaotic can in purple, red and dark blue in an unruly pattern.
Pour opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a 0,4 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet odor of dark malts and sugar mingling with sweet spice and Tonka beans. Caramel and toffee. Brown sugar in abundance. Vanilla, coconut and Tonka. Sweet liqueur.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, soft, a bit sticky, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sugary sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste sweet with a spicy streak. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry with a notable touch of alcohol.
Quite the sweet Dessert bomb.
