On draught at the brewery. Served in a teku glass. It pours a murky,opaque, pastel brownish-yellow with a half finger of creamy, eggshell-colored head and thick lacing. A classic New England appearance. The smell is rather subdued; mostly lemon, grapefruit, and a whiff of tropical fruit, along with rather musty hops. Its taste opens with more sweetness than the smell would indicate. It's very dank with notes of pineapple, ripe cantaloupe, and tangerine. There is also sweetness from the grist bill. I'd swear I'm tasting oats but there's no indication they are included. The mouth feel is nicely thick and creamy with appropriate carbonation, and the 8% ABV gives it good substance without seeming too heavy. Overall, As You Wish may be the first single hop Riwaka IPA I've tried. It's flavorful and enjoyable.
