Cola colored pour with a minimal bubbly head that barely rims the glass. The nose is decidedly bourbon barrel. Flavors are more diverse and the beer changes qualities as it warms. Early on, roast and bourbon dominate. At mid-glass, bourbon recedes and dark fruit like sweet figs and dates takes over. And finally, a strong chocolate flavor emerges strongly enough where it drowns out most other flavors. Interesting stout--a pleasant surprise.

BA Stout with Roasted Peanuts, Cocoa, and Vanilla

On draft at the brewery. Balck in color, not much head. Boozy aroma - I get chocolate and a bit of the nuts. Similar taste - more of the barrel than the adjuncts which is fine with me. Not overly sweet. Full bodied, silky feel.
