Drunk both bottled and on tap (and this short review on the last one on tap on this fund)
Classic and highly appreciated golden color.
Soft and creamy foam.
It is wonderful to see the beer slowly rise with the foam which in turn decreases, while remaining a soft hat for the duration of the drink.
Drinkable body, lively (but not excessive) carbonation, pleasant and decidedly thirst-quenching.
In the mouth hints of ears of wheat and cereals.
The malty note also takes on a delicate, but well perceptible sweet note of honey, before the contribution of hops takes over with herbaceous and slightly more bitter hints that close the beer in a dry way.
The drink is short, but not trivial.
Nice balance between the malty part (cereals, grain) and hops (herbaceous hints, light bitterness)
In my opinion, definitely a good example of classic, old school German Pils.
