Smells of toasted malt and caramel with a hint of alcohol. Foamy cream colored head fizzles to a film. Glowing dark-copper colored beer holds a few streams of carbonation. Rich malty flavor is a mix of caramel Some hops and a hint of alcohol creep in towards the finish and the malt flavor ramps up to create a potent ending. The body is moderately full and the mouthfeel is on the clean side for such a malty beer. I'm no expert at this style, but it's a solid beer and I could definitely drink a few.
