The beer comes in a 0.5L brown bottle with a light-blue and white label and a metal cola-bottle style cap.

Pours a thick, dense, white head that fades slowly. Hazy straw colored beer. Rich aroma of banana and yeast (butterscotch too, as the beer warms). I'm crossing my fingers that the flavor is as rich... Well, it's solid up front, but unfortunately the dominant flavor is butterscotch, and the yeasty banana flavors aren't able compete. The flavors die towards the end and you're left with the aftertaste of carbonated water. The mouthfeel is quite fizzy, and not soft and smooth like a normal Weizen. If the butterscotch flavor was replaced by a standard Hefeweizen flavor then the finish and mouthfeel could be overlooked, and this would be a solid light offering.
