It is very cloudy dark amber and it is definitely a little darker than most beers of this style. It has lots of thick head with a creamy and foamy lace. It has a strong weizen like aroma with great citrus tones and grainy like aroma. The clove like flavor is refreshing with a great citrus aftertaste. It has a medium mouthfeel. There is a bread like after taste and this beer goes down smooth.

Bier vom fass. It is a cloudy brown with a very active head. Lots of yeast is visible in suspension and the head is very thick. The smell is cinnamon, spices, and citrus. Slight caramel smell rounds it out. The taste has some fruit notes, and is slightly sharp with some wheat sweetness. Right down the middle of the plate but nothing that will make the highlight reels. The mouthfeel is a bit thin, but soft with nice carbonation. The drinkability is not bad, but the beer is a bit edgy. No, I don't know what that means either, but it just won't quite let me relax with the glass in my hand somehow. And no, I'm not about to talk about how the furniture is looking at me threateningly.

Poured a thick, creamy, off-white head that faded slowly to a thick coating. Super hazy golden beer with a copper colored core. Smells of wheat, fresh citrus, and dough. Refreshing flavor of fresh wheat with a hint of lemon and undertones of dough and vanilla. It's on the clean side for a weizen and the mouthfeel is not as soft as most. A nice brew. I wouldn't hunt for it, but would have no problems drinking it if available.
