Fischer's Stiftungsbräu "96er"

Note: This is the current hausbier at Bierheuriger.
Look: Clear golden body beneath a white head of foam that holds well and leaves some very nice lacing about the glass.
Smell: Grainy malt with a light herbal note.
Taste: Sweetish grainy malt with some mild nuttiness and lightly spicy and herbal hops. A moderate to medium level bitterness balances it and it finishes fairly dry and short lingering.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently crisp then smooth.
Overall: A basic helles that's well-brewed and nicely balanced but not particularly memorable.
