I tried this beer off the tapper at the Brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had good citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was tropical citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Can from the brewery in Seaside, CA. Pours a almost clear light amber gold with a finger of rocky white head that dissipates, decent lacing, smell is citrus and pine, spicy hop candy, taste is biscuity rye bread malts, spicy and grassy bitterness, herbaceous grapefruit pith on the finish that lingers, hints of tangerine/mandarine flesh and mango, feel is light, bright carbonation, medium carbonic bite, dry. A light and crushable brew with mildly spicy and assertive bitterness.

Nearly clear dark amber with adequate foam in the PIraat tulip. Highly aromatic with bread and a hint of tangerine peel. This is quite flavorful with a distinct spicy, graininess. Mellow malt to go with the tangy, almost sourish rye taste. The malty flavors dominate but are helped by the spicy hop notes.
Hops are listed as Mosaic, Amarillo, and Simcoe. It's not overly bitter in the usual hoppy fashion, but there is a distinct bitter edge that seems to go with the rye. Quite interesting and tasty in this style. From the 16 oz can shipped from City Beer Store. Dated 8/15/20 on the bottom.
