Tasted from a 16 oz can filled at the brewery tap window.
L - Light gold color and hazy. Glows a nice yellowish-orange when held up to the light. Head is white, fluffy and thick. It persists as a thick sheet of large bubbles with lots of lacing.
S - Fresh hop aromas reflect lemon, grapefruit and melon. Clean, with no yeast character, which is as expected. No malt aroma either.
T - Strong punch of hops, with grapefruit, lemon and melon, in that order of emphasis. Later in the palate some bready malt comes in. The flavors give a clean, fresh impression.
F - Medium to heavy body with moderate carbonation. Low to moderate hops bitterness. Alcohol give only a hint of its strength.
O - A very good NEIPA. I'm struggling to find anything I don't like about it. Could use a bit more carbonation and I'd like just a little more bitterness, but those are nitpicks. This is a great beer.
