Bull N Bear Brewery

 

Bull n Bear has been open for 5 months. They opened with 4 beers on tap and they were all excellent. They were impressive then and have kept getting better. As of May 1st they have 15 beer and a hard seltzer . I haven’t had every beer they have brewed just most of them and have never been disappointed. Bull n Bear is not an IPA factory. They brew traditional styles to style and don’t cut corners. A welcome addition to the NJ beer scene.

This new brewery is located on Springfield Avenue in the heart of Summit. It's not a large space but there is an outdoor area in the rear and outdoor tables in front when the weather allows. It has a pleasant industrial vibe. The brewery opened during the COVID pandemic and they've made a great effort to accommodate visitors through reservations. The owner and staff are very friendly and will take time to talk beer with you. The initial beers are all quite good for a new brewery. They offer a varied menu of styles. There are many restaurant opportunities nearby if you want to take food in.
