Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It pours a hazy, orange-amber color akin to iced tea with a half-finger of creamy,ecru-colored head and thin film of lacing. The pleasant aroma includes caramel malt, earthy nuts, leather, tobacco, bready muffin, and notes of blueberry and citrus as the glass warms. The taste is much bigger than I expected: the English malts provide notes of dark toasted bread, bran muffin, toffee, and burnt nuts. As it warms and breaths in the glass there is increasing flavors of citrus and red berry. The bitterness is huge - especially at the finish. There's much greater depth of flavor than I anticipated. It has a full, substantial mouth feel with fairly lively carbonation, and it drinks very easily at 4.2% ABV. Overall, there is nothing milquetoast about Nobbleberry. For its modest ABV it packs a lot of flavor and has a great mouth feel. What a great introduction to this brewery!

Pours brown with a thin white head. Aroma is mild bread/molasses. Taste follows with bread notes with mild molasses/dark fruit sweetness. Feel is very smooth, good stuff. Overall an easy drinking English Mild.
