11 oz. pour on draught at the brewery. It pours an opaque, bright burnt orange color with a thin, milky head and lacing. It has an inviting aroma of orange/tangerine, sweet fruit, and floral hops. The taste pops with orange/tangerine, cantaloupe melon, peach, lemon, and grapefruit over a solid malt base. The hop bill isn't listed but there is a clean bitterness throughout. This ale has a thick, creamy mouth feel with pleasant carbonation and the 8.2% ABV gives it good substance without seeming overly boozy. Overall, Ironclad is a very nice, citrusy DIPA. I don't know whether it's been brewed before but it has a very positive future. I'd drink Ironclad anytime.
