Was looking forward to this one. They have their marketing down, the 4-pack came with a pint glass, and the beer is very nicely presented in jet black cans, with a high quality paper label. And they have shelf space here in the Boston packies.
Can was dated 'BBD 28/09/2022' & 'BC 147/148/21', not so fresh, maybe 9 months old. 4.2% abv.
Positive notes: Some nice malty notes towards the end of my first glass. And the black cans ROCK! Maybe the age taints it a tad, but they're saying 'best by 9/22', so in 2/22 it should be palatable. Of course 18 months is unrealistic and designed to keep it on the shelves.
Not recommended.

440ml Can from Dr:nk, Belfast (£3):
Copper amber with red tinges & a fairly clear body. The head is a half centimetre, foamy on that's a light tan colour & settles as a thin surface lacing. Light caramel & pale, slightly earthy malts open the nose with a biscuit aroma towards the middle & a toffee sweetness too. The taste is a little more bitter & malty with biscuit, faint floral hops & some caramel coming through but it's quite a basic red ale. The body medium, semi-dry & the earthy bitterness features throughout; nice enough but definitely not a complex beer.

had this a few days ago, had to wait until the brewery got accepted before i could write this, and i didn’t take notes at the time, so my memory of this beer isn’t perfect, although it was not good, super watery, lacklustre malt flavour, caramel, biscuit, light bitterness, really nothing of note, not great.
