440ml Can from Dr:nk, Belfast (£3):
Clear copper with a thin, foamy lacing that's light tan & slightly patchy on the surface. It's a bitter, earthy nose with biscuit malt, earthy hops & some slightly floral notes then a tiny bit of caramel sweetness too. The taste is more bitter & earthy with lots of biscuit, earthy flavours & subtle caramel sweetness but it's very much an English pale ale with some light spices to finish. Its a medium body with the bitterness getting stronger towards the end but the moderate carbonation staying throughout. It's balanced but a fairly standard tasting beer, not one I'd rush back to really.
