12 ounce can from the brewery (had on tap previous day).
Pours a clear golden with a creamy near two fingers of white head that fades to a thin rim with spotty lacing.
Smoked malt on the nose - toasty with notes of smoked ham, spicy hops and a soft floral-fruity note.
Deliciously smoky and slightly sweet on the palate - again a bit meaty - smoked ham, toasty but with some bright hop spiciness and a touch of minerality.
Light and crisp mouthfeel with bright carbonation and a lingering spicy hop bite.
