This light bodied West Coast style IPA is complex in character yet incredibly balanced and easy drinking. Simcoe and Mosaic hops take the lead to produce fantastic aromas and flavors of Oro Blanco grapefruit, mango and blueberry. Finishing crisp and dry leaving you wanting more.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a copper tint and a big, three finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of pale malt with a suggestion of caramel, citrus and lightly fruity hops, berries and grapefruit. Flavor is pale and lightly caramel malt, citrus and piney hops, lemon, grapefruit, green melon, mixed stone fruit. Citrus rind and piney finish with nice lingering, almost resinous bitterness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Glad I got to try this new (to me) brewery with a quite solid West Coast style IPA. The hop profile is spot on Simcoe and Mosaic, with the expected citrus and mixed fruit flavors and a better then anticipated pine element. Nice creaminess in the body, more like an imperial malt base. Nicely done, malty and with very satisfying herbal hop flavors. I like this one; good intro to the brewery.

Ruff ruff! Get back cuz da bulldog gonna bite you! Nah, it ain’t like that. This bulldog is chill as hell. He just cruises and licks himself (just like the high life that we all want to live). And when I sip it, I feel pretty close to that.
Peace!
