RŌM Beer Co. (DeLahunt Brewing)

Quite a dark brown brew with glints of amber around the edges and plenty of foam in the Frydenlund half-litre glass. Beery aroma with grain. Quite richly flavored with dark roasted malt. Just a slight sweetness but enough to bring out the caramel taste. Tangy finish, with a fruity note and finally a hint of burnt sugar. Just a little hop flavor of something green, but there is a modest bitter aftertaste with a hint of butter. Overall this is a better than average Brown Ale with a quaffable ABV and endless flavor. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at the brewery taproom in SC.
