Literally about a 30 minute walk from the Chiemsee, or Chiem lake, sits the Gasthausbrauerei Chiemsee Bräu and Kymsee distillery. They have a parking lot, and there's lost of outdoor seating in front and around the side. On a pleasant day there will be a lot of bicycles parked inside their fence as its location makes it a destination point.
Inside it's pretty traditional German decor, and the food and beer follows. There were two beers available on my visit which is probably the norm. I only sampled the Weißebier but it was excellent. The food is traditional German as well, and of good quality and reasonably priced. I unfortunately had to get back to München but I really wanted to stay and have another beer talking with the locals.
It's off the beaten path but if you happen to stray nearby it's certain worth a visit.
