From a 16 oz can into a stem glass. Pours yellow with head and lace. Aroma of light grains and hops. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of pale malt, minerals, citrus zest, grapefruit rind, straw hops, some bitter herbs. Overall rich, refreshing, a little rough but decent for style.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a hazy, medium golden amber with a three finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, lemon, grapefruit, mango and pineapple; fruity. Flavor follows, with pale malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, lemon, grapefruit, mixed tropical fruit and a light to moderate bitterness with a bit of that cryo edge to it. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess and nice mouth feel. I grabbed this to try this new nanobrewery and hoped for the best from a NE style IPA, which are not my favorite style. This one is worthy, though and has a decent lingering bitterness; not what I hope for in an IPA, but actually robust for this style. The fruit flavors from the mosaic hops are pretty much as expected with notes from across the citrus and tropical fruit spectrum, good hop bill. The whole can stayed drinkable and enjoyable, which is great for these hazies. I'll be looking for more from these guys, hopefully a more interesting style.
